The Adventist Health Purchasing Advantage program is headquartered in Roseville, CA. This affiliate program, started in 1999, has now grown to approximately 95 acute hospitals and more than 2,300 non-acute facilities. The affiliate program was created to offer hospitals of any size, that may not be able to access best pricing on their own, the opportunity to aggregate their volume with a large health system. By pooling the resources of all affiliated and owned hospitals, and using the power of collaboration, hospitals are able to access very competitive supply costs.

We provide one of the largest contract portfolios with deep discounts due to our partnership with Premier Group Purchasing Organization. With over $2.4 billion in purchasing power, using national contracts negotiated by Premier and our local agreements with manufacturers and distributors offering aggregated price contracts, Adventist reduces total materials purchasing expenses by an average of 5 to 20 percent.

In addition, with the help of our distribution partner, we offer very competitive distribution agreements for med-surg, lab, and pharmacy.

We go beyond contracts, adding value through our other services. A team of 13 people are working behind the scenes to support all the price activations and analytics.

Our team includes representatives responsible for providing savings opportunities and conducting on-site business reviews bi-annually. They are available to provide materials management expertise and assistance with the vendor community. Our communications support provides consistent communication to all members on all new contract opportunities. Our strengths are grounded in mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with our members and vendors that emphasize value, quality, and commitment.
