Ghassen Jamaleddine
Market Medical Officer
A native of Lebanon, Dr. Jamaleddine earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and medical degree from the American University of Beirut. After serving as a research fellow in pathology at Johns Hopkins Hospital, he completed an Internal Medicine residency at SUNY-Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Jamaleddine is also fluent in Arabic, French and Spanish.
Dr. Jamaleddine comes to Adventist Health from Alameda Health System in the San Francisco Bay area, where he was the chief medical officer and played a major role in building systemwide governance for clinical policy and procedures for multiple medical staffs, a quality and regulatory affairs team, the implementation of a unified electronic health record and a systemwide response to COVID-19. And now, he looks forward to his work with Adventist Health.
