Jason Wells

Jason Wells, MBA, CMPE, FACHE, serves as president of Adventist Health for the Central California Network. Jason brings decades of innovative healthcare operational expertise and recently served systemwide as our Chief Strategy Officer where he provided executive leadership for marketing, communication, consumer experience, digital innovation and strategy.

He has also served as the president of Adventist Health’s three hospitals and clinics in Mendocino County in California. He joined Adventist Health as president of Adventist Health Howard Memorial in Willits in March 2017 and added the role of president of Adventist Health Ukiah Valley when strategies and leadership were aligned for Mendocino County in January 2019. Jason led the strategic work around bringing the remaining hospital and clinics on the coast into the Adventist Health portfolio. Adventist Health Mendocino Coast in Fort Bragg also joined Adventist Health under Jason’s leadership in May 2020.

Prior to joining Adventist Health, Jason served in multiple executive leadership roles in hospital and clinic operations, marketing and communication, experience and culture design, business development and strategy with AdventHealth in North Carolina and Florida.

Jason is a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives and has earned the Certified Medical Practice Executives credential with the American College of Medical Practice Executives.

Jason and his wife Heather have three children, Sidney, Landon and Hayden and enjoy family time on the snow, lake and together on travel adventures.
