Adventist Health welcomes pediatric nurse practitioner to Oakhurst

OAKHURST – Adventist Health proudly welcomes Carol Cramer, certified pediatric nurse practitioner – primary care (C.P.N.P.-P.C.) to its medical office in Oakhurst.

Specializing in general pediatrics, Cramer brings more than 27 years of experience as a pediatric nurse practitioner to her practice. She provides care for children and adolescents, including; well-child exams, newborn care, breastfeeding support, general illness care, preventive medicine and positive parenting support. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Graduating from University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education, Cramer decided to follow her love of youth and education to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then a Master of Science in Nursing as a pediatric nurse practitioner from California State University, Fresno. She is board-certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.

A resident of the mountain community around Oakhurst for the past 16 years, Cramer is passionate about her profession. What she loves most about her career choice -- "Kids," she says. “I not only have fun, but I work with a population where I have the greatest opportunity for meaningful impact.”

In her free time, Cramer enjoys caring for her four-legged family members – horses, dogs and cats. She also enjoys hiking, kayaking and spending time with her family.
