New Family Nurse Practitioner joins Adventist Health team at Selma
May 15, 2019 (Selma, Calif.) – Adventist Health proudly welcomes Kathleen Kelley, F.N.P.-C, to the team practicing at Adventist Health Medical Office – Selma, located at 1041 Rose Ave., in Selma.
Kelley brings more than 20 years of nursing experience to her practice, and provides compassionate, whole-person care for the entire family. She specializes in women’s health, sports physicals, and management of chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia; as well as wellness exams for both children and adults.
After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, Calif., where she completed a special preceptorship in Public Health Nursing, Kelley completed her Master of Science in Nursing and training as a family nurse practitioner at California State University, Fresno.
She has additional training as a Lactation Educator Counselor and is board certified by The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.
A life-long passion for service from a very early age led Kelley to pursue a nursing career, and her long background in mission work and outreach led her to Adventist Health.
“This is something I’ve wanted to do since I was very, very young. I love people and I want to be there to help them understand and access medicine in a way that is helpful to them,” she says. “I worked with Adventist Health during my training, and found an organization and team members who approach patient care like I do – with a focus on faith and whole person health.”
Kelley has three children and is very active in mission and outreach, serving as the Outreach and Missions Director for The Revival Center for the past 10 years. In her spare time she also enjoys family activities and spending time with loved ones.
Kelley is accepting new patients at Adventist Health Medical Office – Selma, located at 1041 Rose Ave., in Selma. To schedule an appointment, please call (559) 856-6090.
