Recipe: Crispy Cauliflower Nuggets

Crispy Cauliflower Nuggets
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients
- 1 pound cauliflower florets
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup water
- 1 ½ cups panko breadcrumbs or homemade bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast flakes
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon ground paprika
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
Directions
- Preheat oven 400°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Place cauliflower florets in a bowl and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix all-purpose flour, water and seasonings, and whisk well. In another small bowl, combine breadcrumbs and sea salt.
- Dip cauliflower florets in flour mixture and then coat in bread crumb mixture and place on baking sheet, repeating until all florets are coated.
- Bake for 30 minutes, turning halfway. Serve with ranch dressing, ketchup, barbecue sauce or hot sauce.
