The Coon Joint Replacement Institute at Adventist Health St. Helena specializes in minimally invasive knee and hip joint replacement, performing more than 1,200 procedures each year. The Institute is led by board-certified orthopedic surgeons, John Diana, MD, and Ryan Moore, MD, and continues to be recognized for its contribution in advancing the art and science of knee and hip replacement, a reputation distinguished by a high volume of surgical experience that spans decades.
Adventist Health St. Helena is a central site for the Adventist Heart & Vascular Institute, a multi-disciplinary group of cardiologist, interventional cardiologists, cardiac electrophysiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons. Tegpal S. Atwal, MD, leads the gastroenterology program at Adventist Health St. Helena. Dr. Atwal is a board-certified gastroenterologist who has been in practice for more than 16 years and brings vast training and experience in all types of gastroenterology and hepatology. With a near-perfect patient rating of 4.7 out of 5, Dr. Atwal receives exceptional praise from both his patients and colleagues.
