New provider caring for the community’s immediate needs

Certified family nurse practitioner Christine McMillan is caring for the community’s immediate needs at Adventist Health Medical Office – Hanford Same Day. McMillan provides compassionate, comprehensive primary medical care to children and adults. She also offers treatment and counseling for those with acute and chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes.

McMillan is known for her ability to communicate with patients and guide them toward more positive lifestyle choices. “I am here to help my patients live a better-informed life,” she says. “Together we can formulate a plan for wellness.”

McMillan attended California State University, Fresno, graduating with distinction with a master’s degree in nursing and cum laude with her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is fluent in English and Spanish.

In her spare time, McMillan can be found working out and running marathons. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, family, friends and beloved dogs.
