Thank you for keeping our community safe
As Thanksgiving approaches, I’ve been thinking about all there is to love about living in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Enjoying breathtaking scenery as the seasons change and watching out for our friends and neighbors are all part of life for those of us lucky enough to call Tuolumne or Calaveras county home.
One of the ways we can watch out for each other and help our community thrive is to continue working to contain the spread of COVID-19 and make it our goal to reach the Minimal risk level on California’s tier-based monitoring system. We must all do our part to avoid elevated case rates, reduce widespread illness, save lives and allow for our local businesses to stay open and safe.
Improving the wellness of our community is at the heart of everything we do at Adventist Health. Our mission is to live God’s love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope. By encouraging healthy behaviors, like frequent handwashing, wearing a mask, and keeping a six-foot distance from individuals outside our bubbles, we can all live God’s love and protect the health and wellness of those around us.
The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged us in so many ways. But it is within our means to contain the virus and keep our community safe and healthy. Thank you for your ongoing diligence.
In gratitude,
Michelle Fuentes
