Luis Guzman, MD, transitions family medicine practice to Adventist Health Medical Office – Reedley Cypress

REEDLEY –Adventist Health Medical Office – Reedley Cypress is pleased to welcome to its medical staff board-certified family medicine physician, Luis Guzman, MD. Previously caring for patients at Adventist Health Physicians Network in Reedley, Guzman transitioned his medical practice as of October 20, 2020.

While both offices are located at the Adventist Health Reedley medical center campus, Adventist Health Medical Office – Reedley Cypress is centrally located inside the hospital and offers a comfortable waiting area, 12 private exam rooms and a specially-trained team of family medicine providers.

Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Guzman will serve as medical director at the Reedley Cypress office, providing leadership and guidance in patient care and service. He is fluent in English and Spanish and is passionate about educating patients to help them take control of their medical conditions and partnering with them on their health journey so they may live healthy lives.

Originally from New York, Guzman was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to Bolivia for several years. While in Bolivia, he earned his medical degree at Universidad Nuestra Senora De la Paz and returned to California to complete his residency at Adventist Health White Memorial in Los Angeles. He began caring for patients in the Central Valley in 2014, establishing his family medicine practice in Reedley.

When he is not caring for patients, Guzman is an active member of the Reedley community and enjoys visiting new restaurants, exercising and exploring the outdoors with his wife and two children.
