Orthopedic surgeon Andrew Lee, MD, joins Adventist Health Medical Offices

CENTRAL VALLEY – Adventist Health is pleased to welcome fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon Andrew Lee, MD, to its medical offices in Fowler, Hanford and Selma. Focusing on minimally invasive surgeries and spinal deformities, Lee specializes in arthritis, back pain, spine disease and degenerative joint and spine disease.

Lee has extensive experience in treating the full spectrum of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine disorders. His special interests include microsurgery, interbody fusions, revision surgery and robotic spine surgery. In addition to authoring articles and textbook chapters, he has presented his research at both national and international spine surgical meetings.

A graduate of Rush Medical College, in Chicago, Lee completed an orthopedic residency at Northwell Health in Long Island, New York. He worked closely with renowned spine surgeons while completing the prestigious, combined neurosurgical and orthopedic spine surgery fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. Born in South Korea and raised in Irvine, Lee also is fluent in English and Korean.

Lee follows a guiding philosophy to treat every patient with compassion and respect, as if they are each a family member. His goals are to ensure patients understand all aspects of their condition and explore every possible non-operative treatment prior to considering surgery. Lee also believes strongly in giving back to the community and has served on medical missions, using his undergraduate bioengineering degree to improve the lives of his patients through innovation.
