Maria Escobar, LCSW joins Adventist Health Medical Offices in Estacada and Hoodland
Adventist Health is pleased to welcome Maria Escobar, LCSW, to the teams at our medical offices in Estacada, located at 200 S.E. Highway 24, Estacada, Ore., and Hoodland, located at 24461 E. Welches Road, Welches, Ore.
Escobar, a licensed clinical social worker, received both her Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University, Chicago, Ill. She has over ten years of experience and has worked in various medical settings, including community mental health groups and hospitals. Her work has extended to cancer patients, caregiver support groups, individuals and families.
Individual therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, support for chronic conditions and serious illnesses, and caregiver support are Escobar’s specialties. She comments, “I find it greatly rewarding to guide individuals in living their healthiest lives possible and helping them to relate to their pain and the challenges in life in more meaningful, mindful ways.”
