New Adventist Health specialty location opens in Tulare
A new Adventist Health Physicians Network medical office opened in Tulare on Sept. 1, giving community members more options for specialty care.
Adventist Health Physicians Network Tulare Multispecialty offers endocrinology services, which include treatment for diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis and some adrenal and pituitary conditions. Family medicine services will be offered soon.
The 3,644 square-foot office has seven exam rooms, one procedure room and five staff members, including a physician who is fellowship-trained in endocrinology. Dr. Danielle Eagan, DO, RD, is a caring provider who offers the latest, most advanced treatments. She has a bachelor’s degree in dietetics, nutrition, fitness and health from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and a doctorate from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Dr. Eagan completed internship and residency training in internal medicine at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, North Carolina and fellowship training in endocrinology at the University of Florida in Gainesville. She was inspired to pursue this specialty because of her own experience with hypothyroidism.
“Exercise and diet are very important to obtaining good control of many endocrine disorders,” says Dr. Eagan.

Merritt Ave., with a phone number of 559-605-2150, which offers foregut and general and thoracic surgeries; and Adventist Health Physicians Network Rapid Care, 2103 E. Prosperity Ave., with a phone number of 559-605-2155. Rapid Care is for those with private insurance who do not have an emergency, but need care fast, when their primary care physician is unavailable.
