Tulare community invited to help Adventist Health improve the hospital experience

News

Patient satisfaction is a high priority for Adventist Health in the Central Valley, which is why the faith-based, not-for-profit organization is looking for members of the community to join its new Patient & Family Advisory Committee at Adventist Health Tulare. The group will meet with Sheri Pereira, the hospital’s associate patient care executive, four times a year.

The Patient & Family Advisory Committee is a partnership of patient and family member advisors and an Adventist Health representative who are dedicated to advancing comprehensive and compassionate patient- and family-centered healthcare. Committee members will play an active role in improving the patient and family care experience by:

  • Identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Gathering and providing feedback and perspective on topics related to patient- and family-centered healthcare, such as medical group plans, activities, care, services and programs.

“We are honored to be in this community and want to make sure our neighbors, family and friends have a positive experience at our hospital,” says Pereira. “Who better to help us improve patient care than the patients themselves?”

Those who are interested in being a part of the committee, may fill out an online form at www.AHAdvisor.com or contact Shannon Weece, with Adventist Health Tulare administration, at 559-366-1212.
