September Mendocino Coast Hero: Brittney Platt
At the end of September, we celebrated another amazing team member that’s a part of our lab at Adventist Health Mendocino Coast. Brittney Platt received our September Mendocino Coast Hero Award for the month and was nominated in her for “Being Brilliant”!
“Being Brilliant” means, we leverage our best talents and skills to shine. We make promises and keep them, always expecting the same from others.
Brittney received not just a few nominations, but a grand total of an astonishing 12 nominations! The largest amount of nominations we have received in the history of our Adventist Health Mendocino Coast Hero Award to date! She is known as a brilliant light at our hospital, goes above and beyond and continuously looks for the most monumental ways of improving our patient’s experience.
One of her coworkers wrote, “Brittney is a ray of sunshine. She greets us each morning with a smile and a good morning. Her skill set is second to none. She is effective and efficient and an asset to our team. AHMC is lucky to have her as their employee.”
Another team member wrote, “I have the fortunate experience with Brittney as a patient and coworker. She demonstrates professionalism, compassion, and is an asset to our team!”
We also were very fortunate to have a few patients write in a nomination as well. One patient even wrote, “I believe the woman who helped me today in the lab, her name was Brittney. She was fabulous. Absolutely fabulous!”
Brittney is an incredibly kind and compassionate to her patients and our team in our Adventist Health Mendocino Coast. We could not be more thrilled to have such an amazing team member be a part of our Adventist Health family. We are truly fortunate to have her.
Thank you, Brittney, for being a hero to our patients and to your team at the hospital. You are a brilliant, shining star!
