Mendocino Coast Hero: Chris Endicott
We're excited to announce Chris Endicott as our Mendocino Coast Hero for March. Chris is a nurse in our electrocardiogram (EKG) team and helps administer stress tests… that aren't that stressful.
Chris was nominated for our value of "Be Love." Love matters. We treat ourselves with love and care so that we are free to love and care for others. We are trustworthy, forgiving freely and finding common ground.
Love and kindness were the top themes among the patients and team members nominating Chris for this award. One patient nomination wrote "that the nurse who was handling my cardio test was a wonderful, wonderful lady. She instructed me how the test was going to go and what I was going to need to do. She was very patient, kind and caring."
A nurse for more than three decades, Chris is also endeared by other team members, one of which wrote that "Chris is so kind and efficient, and I appreciate her work so much."
Her patients appreciate her work, too. "Nurse Chris was an absolutely amazing, total rock star. She's very good at about explaining what is going on and very caring and professional and I just can't thank her enough for really walking me through the stress test and just making the experience, that was less than pleasant, not scary."
We appreciate Chris's example of extending a kind hand to our patients, and we're thrilled that she's a part of the Adventist Health Mendocino Coast family. Thank you, Chris, for all that you do for our patients and team — our community is blessed to have you.
Please join us in congratulating Chris as this month’s Mendocino Coast Hero!
If you're interested in meaningful work with a purpose-driven team, Adventist Health is always looking for excellent people to join our staff.
