Adventist Health restructures senior leadership team

ROSEVILLE, CA – Adventist Health on Wednesday announced a restructuring of its senior leadership to further support its associates, mission and 2030 transformation strategy.

Todd Hofheins, who was named chief financial officer in 2020, will now serve as chief operating officer for Adventist Health, a nonprofit organization operating in more than 80 communities on the West Coast and Hawaii as well as many others across the U.S. through its Blue Zones company. Hofheins has vast experience in operations and financial accountabilities as well as payer relationships and strategy. Prior to Adventist Health, he served as executive vice president and CFO of HealthPartners, the largest nonprofit consumer-governed healthcare organization in the nation, and as the executive vice president and CFO at Providence St. Joseph Health/Providence Health & Services.

John Beaman, who has been the chief business and people officer at Adventist Health since 2018, will serve as the new chief financial officer of the $5 billion corporation. Beaman has previously served as vice president and senior financial officer for Adventist Health and also was a CFO at Adventist Health hospitals in Bakersfield and Simi Valley as well as hospitals in other health systems.

Adventist Health also announced that Bill Wing, president, is stepping down. Wing, who played a leading role in developing the system’s 2030 strategy, was instrumental in acquiring Blue Zones and accelerating the launch of Adventist Health Hospital@Home in 2020.
