Recognized for efforts to provide continued value to the communities served, Adventist Health Tillamook has been identified by the Lown Institute, a nonprofit organization that sets social responsibility benchmarks for several social responsibility categories. In a group of over 3,600 other hospitals in the United States, Adventist Health Tillamook scored “A” grades for the following:

Reflecting performance across health equity, value, and outcomes.

Health Equity Grade: A
Reflecting commitment to equity, inclusion and community health.

Value of Care Grade: A — Top 100 in the Nation for Value of Care, Top 10 in Oregon
Reflecting the avoidance of use of low-value services and cost efficiency.

Patient Satisfaction Grade: A
Measured by aspects of the hospital experience as reported by patients.

Community Benefit Grade: A — Top 5 in Oregon for Community Benefit
Measured by the extent of hospital investment in community health.

Avoiding Overuse Grade: A — Top 100 in the Nation for Avoiding Overuse, Top 5 in Oregon
Measured by avoiding inappropriate tests and procedures that offer little or no clinical benefit.

National Cost Efficiency Grade: A
Measured by risk-adjusted clinical outcomes over cost per patient adjusted for local cost of living and labor costs.
