Application Process
Browse Openings and Apply
All open positions at Adventist Health Clear Lake are posted the Adventist Health Careers site. You can search for open positions by career area, facility and schedule. When you find an opening that interests you, complete and submit the application online. You will make a profile as part of this process, which will allow you to update your application and apply for additional positions. Only apply for jobs for which you meet the minimum requirements.
Each application will be reviewed by the talent acquisition manager. Applicants meeting the position requirements will be forwarded to a hiring manager for review. Applicants selected for an interview will be personally contacted by the talent acquisition manager. If you are not selected for an interview, you will be notified by email.
Interview
If your application demonstrates you are a match for an opening, our talent acquisition manager will contact you personally to arrange an interview with the hiring manager (often the director or manager of the department). You’ll be informed on the location of the interview and any additional details. The interview is a chance for an applicant and an organization to learn about each other, so don’t be afraid to ask questions!
Applicants invited for an interview may be asked to participate in an online reference assessment process. Check the email address associated with your application for details. Occasionally, applicants may be invited for a second interview or asked to provide additional documentation or references for review.
The talent acquisition manager will stay in touch with you following your interview. You’ll be contacted with an offer of employment or be notified if an alternative applicant was selected for the position.
Offer and Onboarding
We want employees to find a great fit within Adventist Health Clear Lake! After you’ve received and accepted an offer, the Human Resources team will guide you through the onboarding process to make your start with us as successful as possible.
For the safety and health of our patients and staff, background checks are conducted for all new hires. You can expect to be contacted by a company called Pre-Employ, which conducts our background checks.
We will schedule an appointment on-site to:
- Complete any necessary new hire paperwork
- Collect employment eligibility documents and licensure/certifications
- Complete a pre-employment physical
- Conduct pre-employment screenings, including a urine screening and blood draw
All new hires must successfully complete the comprehensive background screening, medical examination, drug screening and acknowledge and accept all necessary policies.
Orientation
A smooth transition starts with orientation and training! Once you have successfully completed the onboarding process, you will be scheduled for new employee orientation. Some positions will have additional orientations and trainings. You will be scheduled for the appropriate trainings as part of your onboarding process and will start with your department once they are complete.
