Dr. Varghese is a board certified general surgeon specializing in advance surgical procedures and breast care. Her global experience brings a broad perspective on surgical disease and management to the community.

Dr. Varghese completed her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. After finishing general surgery residency at Texas A&M Scott & White Hospital, she honorably served in the United States Air Force in Japan, England and Qatar. She led, advised and participated in various boards and committees during her military commitment. Dr. Varghese received multiple medals including the commendation medal during her service.

Upon returning home to the United States, she worked in rural Texas and the Oklahoma Indian Health Service while obtaining an MBA (Masters in Business Administration) in Health Management from the University of Texas at Dallas. Due to her interest and concern for disparity in breast cancer care in underserved regions, Dr. Varghese completed a breast surgery fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. She worked on research articles, published a chapter, and acquired the latest surgical knowledge and skills in breast disease treatment.
