Dr. Lamonica guided me through my successful bout with cancer in a professional and caring manner. I am grateful to have had her by my side throughout that trying time. (And she laughed at my usual joke at the end of this appointment, too.) I am also grateful for the excellent facilities here in Ukiah for the reliable medical care that has been readily available to me and my wife.

During the phone conversation I had September I was told that biopsy done the previous week showed that I had aggressive cancer in my prostate. Dr. Lamonica asked me to schedule a PET scan to determine if the cancer had spread beyond the prostate and I was able to schedule a PET scan in Ukiah for Sept .. Very happy that Dr Lamonica authorized a very expensive top of the line body scan to determine whether cancer had spread. During follow up appointment October in Fort Bragg I was told that cancer had not spread and was confined to prostate which was very good news.

Dr LaMonica are true professionals. We are blessed that they choose to practice in our community.

I was able to ask questions until I was clear about the answers. Satisfaction!

Dr. Lamonica was courteous, asked if I was suffering with any conditions. Inquired about medications to make sure I was adequately cared for at pharmacy. Checked my condition, shared results with me of urine test at her office as well as results from blood test taken ahead of office visit. Recommended I return for follow up in one year period, unless any condition develops that needs her attention before then.........................Thorough while not taking too much time.

Dr. Lamonica is a wonderful physician. We walked through my very experience with COVID, stress, other infections as possible explanation for moderate rise in my PSA. In addition, Dr. Lamonica recommended an increase in strength of my testosterone cream as my low testosterone numbers where not what we hoped.
