About The Provider
Dr. Cabaluna is dedicated to her young patients and finds daily inspiration in their care. One of her greatest rewards is the opportunity to help the entire family through excellent pediatric care and in depth patient and caregiver health education. She enjoys these relationships and watching children as they grow.
She credits her father for giving her the drive to pursue a career as a physician. He motivated her to set goals for achieving her medical degree and subsequent residencies in pediatrics

She's very surface level. Doesn't explain things, or hardly look up from her computer. I don't feel like she listens or truly cares

It appears that the provider doesn't review her chart nor her notes before our visit or prior to entering the room. She always asks the same questions, which it is alarming if these are not noted because she has been our provider for over a year now.

The Dr. Is very nice and great with kids, but she doesn't seem to pay attention to me when I'm talking to her. She doesn't look up from her computer and it doesn't seem personal. She doesn't ask questions on my concerns and seems rushed. A big concern I had was her telling me to stop nursing my 6 month old and to only feed him solids. I questioned her on that and she said new research is always coming out and that is the new recommendation. Which is absolutely insane and so terrifying if first time moms, or parents who trust her, actually listen to that advice. She knows my son can't hold his head up for very long and still suggested to stop breastfeeding and only rely on solids for his main form of nutrition. Also the way she talks about autism is concerning, she makes it sound like a disease that needs to be cured rather than a neurotype to be embraced and offer support where needed

Will not recommend someone who does not listen attentively to your concerns. Specially regarding someones health.

It appears that provider does not review my child's chart before/during our appointment. Every visit, we have to correct the provider or provide the same information about our child's medical history, although she has been their provider since birth.
