Mohamad Ali Farhat, MD

Mohamad Farhat is originally from Lebanon. He attended the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Honors Physics. His interest in medicine was solidified with his undergraduate research in biomedical engineering at the Robarts Research Institute. He then attended medical school at St George’s University in Grenada, West Indies. It was there that he developed his passion for community involvement, a love for the outdoors and health and wellness. Dr. Farhat attended residency in Ob/Gyn and graduated in 2004 from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He has continued to work as a generalist obstetrician and gynecologist with interest in minimally invasive surgery and basic urogynecology. Dr Farhat has worked in both large and small health systems as well as in academia. He was an assistant clinical professor at Tufts, a clinical instructor at Harvard Medical School, as well as an associate program director at Beaumont Health Ob/Gyn residency Program in Dearborn, Michigan. He is married and has three young children. He and his family love it here in northern California and he look forward to taking care of your Ob/Gyn needs.
