Previously, Peggy supported the TakeTEN program at Adventist Health St. Helena, working especially with diabetic clients and those with nicotine dependence. She has provided services at Adventist Health since 2009. Prior to her work with us, she offered specialty care to patients in both acute care hospital settings and an advanced internal medicine outpatient clinic.
Peggy Thomas is passionate about lifestyle medicine and is dedicated to the philosophy of getting to the cause of disease. She prefers to integrate a combination of evidence-based medicine and education on lifestyle habits that help patients optimize their health.

Would be better if provider had enough time to review my chart before the appointment so that I would not have to remind them what issues we have already discussed, what tests have already been done, why certain tests were done etc. I don't expect anyone to just remember all that information but a quick review of notes on last meeting would help to move things along.

I presented with a problem that has persisted and gotten worse over the past 8-9 months. Several other providers have seen me for this issue, physicians, P.A.s, and N.P.s. Peggy is the first one who examined me physically instead of just relying on test results, and she made some vital observations. She made a possible diagnosis and treatment plan, including what she would do if the treatments did not work. For the first time in many months I feel hopeful that I might get some relief from the discomfort that is getting more severe. Peg is always very thorough and I really appreciate her!

Peggy Thomas is the best. Although I moved out of Napa Valley, I'm happy to make the drive to continue seeing her for my primary care.
