Funding Priorities

Projects save lives, improve wellness, and provide education on numerous topics that enrich our community members – all vital to advancing Adventist Health Feather River’s mission – Living God’s love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope.

Help our community access emergency care services

We are committed to helping residents of Paradise access the emergency care services. With the recent approval of SB 156, Adventist Health can provider emergency care services without being directly attached to an acute care hospital. This requires significant investments in time, resources, technology, facilities and staff to bring this vision to reality.

Immediate Care: To support immediate care services needed in the community, Adventist Health will open an Immediate Care Clinic at Feather River Health Center at 5125 Skyway Road in Paradise.

Ambulance Services: Since December, there has been a 30 percent increase in ambulance runs for Paradise as the rebuilding efforts continue to escalate. The Foundation recently awarded Adventist Health $21,000 to establish a new EMS base station in Paradise to better serve residents who live and work in the community.

Emergency Facilities: Reopening emergency care services requires bringing together an exceptional team to care for patients in a safe and comfortable facility. Bringing this facility to reality requires extensive investment and time. Prior to Camp Fire, the heartbeat of the entire Adventist Health campus in Paradise was the central utility plant. Devastated by the Camp Fire, this central facility plant needs extensive work to reopen.
