Addiction Support in Butte County
Adventist Health offers community members with Opioid Use Disorder a safe place to find support and treatment. Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) is a high-risk chronic illness. Recovery is possible.
Adventist Health’s Medications for Addiction Treatment (MAT) program can help.
Our program offers:
- Integrated, patient-centered care
- Suboxone and other medications
- Outpatient treatment groups
- Behavioral health counseling
- Case management
- Referrals for community recovery support
Working with your care team, you may be prescribed Suboxone. This medication safely relieves cravings from opioids, helps manage withdrawal, and normalizes the brain – producing little or no euphoria. Suboxone can also be an excellent treatment for patients with Opioid Use Disorder who have chronic pain.
Once you are enrolled:
• You will meet with our staff for assessment, medical evaluation, and a patient-centered recovery plan.
• Initially all MAT patients will attend weekly medical visits/outpatient treatment groups to establish stability and safety.
• As patients stabilize, they will progress to less frequent visits/groups.
• As patients develop healthy lifestyles, including abstinence from nonprescribed opioids, they will meet for monthly visits/groups.
