Application
Applications will only be accepted through the ERAS system. The application process allows our faculty and residents to thoroughly and holistically review each applicant’s credentials prior to extending an invitation to interview.
Our application deadline is December 31.
Application Criteria:
Applications are reviewed holistically across multi-domain review criteria, and include the following.
- Sincere interest in full-spectrum family medicine
- Commitment to community service, particularly the underserved
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team
- Excellence in clinical rotations
- Robust medical knowledge
- Leadership experience
- Language(s) proficiency that reflects our patient population’s needs
- Our program participates in program signaling and all signaled applications will be reviewed
- Geographic preferences as indicated by applicant
- Must have passing scores on USMLE or COMLEX Step 1 and Step 2

Three letters of recommendation are required
- One should be a letter from a Family Medicine physician with whom you have worked with
Additional Criteria for International Medical Graduates:
- Must have at least six months of US clinical experience
- Must have a passing score on USMLE Step 1 and Step 2
- Should not be more than five years out of medical school
- Must be fluent in both written and oral English
- Must be a US citizen or hold permanent resident status
- Our program does not support or sponsor VISAs of any kind

It is the program’s plan to hold in-person interviews. If granted an interview, contact will be made through ERAS regarding the interview process. Interviews will be scheduled by invitation only and will occur between November-January.
