Medical Student Clerkship
We offer four-week, ambulatory-based clerkships for fourth year U.S. medical
students who plan to apply to our program, as well as a third year, core
outpatient family medicine rotation for medical students from WUHS, UCLA,
USC and Loma Linda University. Clerkship opportunities are not available
for international medical students/graduates at this time.
The clerkship emphasizes preventive care for all ages with a focus on health for the underserved in a multi-cultural city. Students will see patients with faculty/residents and independently (under the supervision of the faculty/residents). Additionally, there is a daily didactic conference series in which clerkship students are expected to participate.
