Employee Hardship Fund
At Adventist Health Glendale, our associates aren’t just employees – they’re family. In times of crisis, a family offers support. That’s why the Adventist Health Glendale Foundation created the Employee Hardship Fund, to help our associates financially during times of unexpected, emergency hardships, including COVID-19 related emergencies.
Most of the money raised for the Employee Hardship Fund comes from our associates themselves, who selflessly contribute to help their co-workers during hard times. These funds are used for a number of purposes for our families or individuals in need, including food, transportation, childcare or adult dependent care services, unexpected medical expenses and more. So far this year, we’ve been able to provide more than $27,000 in emergency funds for families and individuals, thanks to the efforts of our associates and family of community donors.
