elderly woman at ovenThe Neurological Rehabilitation occupational therapists at Adventist Health Glendale (AHGL) help people of all ages regain movement and independence following a brain injury, surgery or illness to allow them to participate in the activities of daily living.

Our occupational therapists work closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists and audiologists to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients. At AHGL, this team provides patients with an individualized evaluation and customized interventions to improve their ability to move in their environment.

Additionally, our outpatient therapists have advanced training in managing neurological disorders through advanced certifications, including:

  • NeuroIntegrative Functional Rehabilitation and Habilitation (Neuro-IFRAH)
  • Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT)
  • LVST® BIG for the treatment of Parkinson's disease
