Physical Therapy for Neurological Rehabilitation
The Neurological Rehabilitation physical therapists at Adventist Health Glendale (AHGL) help people of all ages regain movement and independence following neurological injury, surgery or illness to allow them to participate in the activities of daily living.
Our physical therapists work closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists and audiologists to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients. At AHGL, this team provides patients with an individualized evaluation and customized interventions to improve their ability to move in their environment.
AHGL's outpatient therapists also have additional training in managing neurological disorders through advanced certifications, including:
- Neuro Integrative Functional Rehabilitation and Habilitation (Neuro-IFRAH)
- Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT)
- Lee Silverman Voice Treatment® BIG (LSVT) for the treatment of Parkinson's disease
