Glendale Acute Rehabilitation Unit

When a patient needs compassionate, expert care following hospitalization for a serious illness or injury, the 28-bed acute rehabilitation unit (ARU), located on the east side of the Adventist Health Glendale campus, provides comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services.
During your stay in the unit, you’ll receive individualized treatment from experienced nurses and therapists, designed to help you regain strength and independence and learn the skills you need to resume your daily activities when you return home.

Conditions we treat include but are not limited to:
- Stroke
- Brain tumor/hemorrhage
- Traumatic brain injury
- Parkinson's disease
- Multiple sclerosis
- Spinal cord injury
- Multiple trauma and/or amputation
- Joint replacement
- Guillain-Barre syndrome
