Treatment and Services
The Lung Care Center offers exercise testing and pulmonary function testing (PFT) to detect and diagnose disorders in the lungs and chest, including:
- Exercise testing: Six-Minute Walk Test (6MWT) – a simple walking test, performed by a respiratory therapist, that provides information about the exercise capacity of patients with chronic respiratory illnesses.
- Pulmonary function testing to measure how well you move air in and out of your lungs and how oxygen moves from your lungs into your blood. These tests include spirometry, lung volume testing and diffusion capacity.
- Sleep disorder testing and support We offer both in-laboratory and home sleep apnea testing, as well as personalized treatment options, including PAP therapy, oral appliances and surgical referrals, including upper airway evaluations, bariatric (weight loss) assessments and surgery.
