Adventist Health Lodi Memorial is always eager to train and orient new volunteers in a variety of roles throughout the medical center. For those considering a volunteer position, these are some of the benefits:

Adventist Health Lodi Memorial offers volunteers the opportunity to work in a variety of areas within the hospital and beyond. Volunteers receive a comprehensive orientation/training period in specific areas of interest, including:
- Gift shop
- Adult day care
- Courtesy desk
- Patient billing department
- Central supply
- Patient-advocate program
- Wayfinding assistant
- Prayer ministry
To become a volunteer, the medical center asks potential volunteers to:
- Commit to four hours a week for at least six-months
- Sign a confidentiality agreement
- Complete a safety training
- Complete a general-medical center and department-specific orientation
- Complete a volunteer application
