M.A. Kazmi, MD
Dr. Kazmi is a neurologist practicing with Adventist Health. He joined Adventist Health from Lake Havasu, Arizona, where he practiced neurology for 27 years. He is a mentor and educator in the areas of neurology, hospice and palliative care. He has held numerous leadership positions throughout his career, including chief of neurology at Tracy Community Hospital. He is an adjunct professor at Midwestern University Phoenix. His areas of interest include epilepsy, hospice, palliative care, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease.
Well-known for his bedside manner, Dr. Kazmi has been called “a true caregiver and healer” and receives praise from his patients, students and fellow physicians. He completed his undergraduate studies at Dow Medical College and then completed a neurology internship and residency at St. Louis University Hospital. He also completed a psychiatry residency at Napa State Hospital and was the chief neurology resident at UC Davis Medical Center.
Dr. Kazmi is married with two daughters. He enjoys working on computers, playing soccer and baseball.
Sami Moshi, MD
Dr. Moshi is a neurologist practicing with Adventist Health. He chose a career in medicine so that he can help people live a better quality of live. He enjoys neurology because he likes the challenge of treating patients with complex cases.
Dr. Moshi is a board-certified diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He completed his neurology residency at NSLIJ Health System and medicine residency at Brookdale Hospital in New York.
Outside of work, Dr. Moshi likes to spend time with his wife and three adult children who attend nearby colleges. He also enjoys biking and playing tennis.
Weiping Yao, MD
Dr. Yao is a neurologist practicing with Adventist Health Lodi Memorial. He became a physician because he loves helping others and feels called to serve through practicing medicine.
As a board-certified psychiatry and neurology physician, Dr. Yao addresses a comprehensive array of neurological disorders in his practice.
Dr. Yao received his medical degree and Master of Medicine at Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences in Guangzhou, China. He went on to complete his PhD in Neurosciences at Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. The final phase of his training was the completion of an internship and neurology residency at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.
Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Yao enjoys spending time with his loving wife and traveling.
