Adventist Health Howard Memorial (AHHM) is a new state of the art 74,000 square foot facility is home to four surgery suites, helistop a farm-to-fork restaurant and 25 beautiful private rooms designed with healing and comfort in mind. It serves northern Mendocino County with key services including 24-hour emergency care, intensive care, surgery, an orthopedic joint center, diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, respiratory care, outpatient rehabilitation and a retail pharmacy. Adjacent to the medical center is a beautiful new professional building, home to a large multispecialty medical office that includes primary care and other specialty care.

Community Overview
Nestled at the western edge of the Little Lake Valley at 1350 feet above sea level, Willits is surrounded by forested mountains of the coastal range. The city of Willits, centrally located in the heart of Mendocino County, is on U. S. Highway 101 and State Highway 20 West approximately halfway between San Francisco and Eureka (140 miles either direction), 158 miles west of Sacramento and 36 miles east of the Pacific coast. The town is rich in history and beautiful scenery, from rolling hills to picturesque ranches dotting the landscape. Willits has a very moderate climate year-round. The coastal influence contributes to this wonderful climate especially in the summer months when our neighbors to the south can be up to 10 degrees warmer.
