Chris Champlin, President, Adventist Health and Rideout
Chris Champlin, a health system executive with more than 20 years of experience, was named president of Adventist Health and Rideout in December 2021.
Chris previously served as chief strategy officer for Dignity Health’s Greater Sacramento Division for six years and for the organization’s Central Coast Division for 13 years. In his Sacramento role, he was responsible for achieving short- and long-range growth goals for the company’s highest revenue-producing division, including a physician network, virtual care, value-based contract performance, a clinic for COVID-19 long-hauler syndrome and an expansion strategy of two new hospitals and multiple ambulatory clinics. He also served for nine years in public health education and grants and three years in business development, sales and marketing leadership for a health plan.
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in health sciences from La Sierra University in Riverside and a master’s degree in public health from Loma Linda University.
