and Rideout’s commitment to provide consistent, high-quality cardiac

Chest Pain Center Accreditation with PCI
The American College of Cardiology has recognized Adventist Health and
Rideout for its demonstrated expertise and commitment in treating patients
with chest pain. Adventist Health and Rideout was awarded Chest Pain Center
Accreditation with Primary PCI in July 2020 based on rigorous onsite evaluation
of the Adventist Heart & Vascular Institute team’s ability to
evaluate, diagnose and treat patients who may be experiencing a heart attack.

Cath Lab Accreditation with PCI
Adventist Health and Rideout was awarded Cardiac Cath Lab Accreditation
with PCI in December 2019 based on rigorous onsite evaluation of the staff’s
ability to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients who come to the cardiac
cath lab. The medical center is the first and only hospital in California
to receive recognition for its evidence-based quality initiatives in the
cardiovascular cath lab.

2020 Silver Performance Achievement Award Chest Pain – MI Registry
The award recognizes Adventist Health and Rideout’s commitment and
success in implementing a higher standard of care for heart attack patients
and signifies the medical center reached an aggressive goal of treating
these patients to standard levels of care as outlined by the American
College of Cardiology/American Heart Association clinical guidelines and
recommendations.
