What is a Nurse Navigator?
- An Oncology certified registered nurse who will provide individualized assistance to cancer patients, their families and caregivers.
- A Nurse Navigator will ensure that you have ongoing and timely access to care.
- A Nurse Navigator will provide you with educational materials relating to your diagnosis.
- A Nurse Navigator will provide you with referrals to community resources.
It is our commitment and privilege to be with you every step of the way. We are available to help you meet your physical, social, emotional, cultural and spiritual needs.

The Cancer Information Service is the National Cancer Institute's link to the public, interpreting and explaining research findings in a clear and understandable manner. Callers also have the option of listening to recorded information about cancer 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

After Breast Cancer Support Group
Support group for women who are facing, have faced, or are recovering from
breast cancer. This group meets the 1st Thursday of every month at the
Simi Valley Senior Center.

Colon Cancer Self-Help Group
A Program of the American Cancer Society
The Colon Cancer Self-Help Group provides cancer patients and their partners
a chance to share experience, learn more about the disease, and gain skills
to help adjust to their own individual needs after the diagnosis.

Blood Related Cancers Family Support Group
A Program of the Cancer Center of Ventura County
This program meets the first Thursday each month from 6pm - 7:30pm to assist
people with leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma in coping
more effectively with their illness and learning as much as possible about
their disease. Family members are welcome.

A Program of Prostate Cancer Education and Support Group
Prostate Cancer Support Group is an educational and support group for all
men diagnosed with prostate cancer before, during and after treatment.
It provides an opportunity to discuss issues, exchange information and
share concerns. Spouses, partners and family members are encouraged to
attend. Group meets from 10:00 am - 11:30 am the 3rd Tuesday each month.
