Rehabilitation Services in Sonora
Helping you recover physically, mentally & spiritually
Adventist Health Sonora’s rehabilitation services is the leading physical, occupational and speech therapy provider in the region, with a state-of-the-art facility for outpatient services. Whether you have sustained an injury, undergone recent surgery or are having difficulty with daily activities, we have the resources you need to achieve your full physical potential.
When your doctor refers you for therapy, you initially will be evaluated by one of our skilled therapists. Some of our therapists specialize in sports medicine and orthopedics. Some specialize in treating neurological disorders and balance problems/vertigo. Others specialize in spinal dysfunctions/arthritis. People of all ages come to our facility for treatment, including pediatric patients.
We use a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, sport-specific rehabilitation, computer-based cognitive retraining (speech therapy) and all of the usual treatments found in outpatient therapy practices.
One feature that sets our rehabilitation services apart is we schedule each patient for a 45-minute, one-on-one appointment each visit. Unlike many therapy facilities that schedule two to four patients per hour and use unlicensed staff to supervise multiple patients at one time, our licensed therapists spend more dedicated time with each patient. This has resulted in industry-leading therapeutic outcomes and patient satisfaction scores.
Helping you get back to a productive life is what we do best at our rehabilitation services.
