Sabine Wahl-Barry, PT

Sabine wahl-barrySabine graduated from Physical Therapy School in Germany in 1982 and began her career at the University Clinic in Munich. She has been a therapist in the United States since 1988. After the six-month PNF residency at Kaiser Vallejo, she treated neurological patients with emphasis on spinal cord injuries. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity presented her with the unique and challenging experience of rebuilding the Physical Therapy Department in Yosemite National Park. The program she established at the Yosemite Medical Clinic continues serving the needs of patients living and working in the park. After several years in Yosemite, she joined the outpatient orthopedic staff at Stanford University assuming the role of senior clinician. She became a mentor to new therapists and for a number of years she was the clinical coordinator for the Stanford Clinic overseeing a staff of thirty employees.

Sabine has been a part of the Bones physical therapy team since just after the clinic opened in 2002. She is proud to live in Tuolumne County and very much enjoys meeting and treating the outpatient orthopedic patients where she can apply her knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Highlights of extensive continuing education include the six-month PNF residency program, Australian Approach to Manual Therapy (a long term course), Ola Grimsby Institute, Pilates, and FMS certification.

Sabine enjoys spending time with her husband, hiking, camping, and skiing in the Sierra, riding her two horses, and staying active.
