Urology Surgery Services
Many urologic health issues can be treated with medication or other non-surgical means. Our urology specialists take a conservative approach to treatment and will first try all appropriate non-surgical options to resolve your health concern.
At times, however, surgery is the best way to provide relief and healing. In those cases, your urologist and other health professionals will carefully and thoroughly explain the recommended surgical procedure and will take time to answer all your questions.
Your physician will also evaluate your urologic issue, your health status, the particular procedure to be performed and other factors to determine if you might qualify for minimally invasive surgery, such as laparoscopy or robotic surgery. Minimally invasive surgery typically offers a variety of benefits for the patient, including less pain, a shorter hospital stay and quicker recovery.
We offer a variety of urologic surgery procedures, including:
- Cancer surgery — including prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular, adrenal and ureter cancer
- Procedures to treat benign (non-cancerous) prostatic hyperplasia — including transurethral resection of the prostate, laser vaporization, Urolift and Rezum
- Ureteroscopy, shock-wave lithotripsy and percutaneous surgery for kidney stones
- And other procedures
