American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement
The ACS NSQIP program focuses on the surgical patient’s experience during their stay up until 30 days after being discharged. These results are compared to other hospitals across the country similar to ours in size and population demographics.
As part of the program, a surgical clinical reviewer will gather information from a random sample of patients and will also interview the respective surgeon and the surgeon’s office staff. You may be contacted by a surgical clinical reviewer by telephone or mail.
Your feedback and information will be kept strictly confidential. We thank you in advance for your help and input so we can complete the process.
This program will help us to:
- Track quality measures by surgeon
- Improve surgical outcomes
- Reduce length of stay in the hospital
- Establish best-practice guidelines
- Improve your satisfaction
