Jack Lungu, RN, MBA, Administrative Director of Behavioral Health,
Adventist Health Vallejo
Jack has over 35 years of behavioral health and executive experience working in for-profit and non-profit systems, medical centers and free-standing psychiatric hospitals.
Jack has extensive experience working with adult, children and geriatric populations. His executive experience ranges from CEO and Vice President to Chief Nursing Officer and hospital administrator. Highlights of his tenure include business turnaround, culture change, quality management, strategic program development and market growth.
He has an undergraduate degree in nursing and a master's degree in business administration. Raised in Michigan, Jack spent time in Alabama, Arizona and Florida and has called California home for over 25 years. When he isn't working, Jack enjoys sports cars, working in his yard, going to the beach and spending time with his wife Donna.
Steven Herber, MD, President, Adventist Health St. Helena and Vallejo
Dr. Herber completed his plastic surgery training in 1992 at Yale University School of Medicine, where he was also a faculty member. He received his medical degree and surgical residency training at Loma Linda University School of Medicine, where he later returned to teach in the Department of Surgery after completing a fellowship in pediatric reconstruction and maxillofacial surgery.
As an active researcher, Dr. Herber contributed widely to medical journals, textbooks, and conferences, and appeared in the media as an authority on a variety of reconstructive procedures.
In 1998, he founded the St. Helena Institute for Plastic Surgery and has practiced in the upper valley for 24 years. He accepted an executive role at St. Helena Hospital in 2011 and became its president in 2014.
