Patient Care Executive

Patricia Vasquez, MSN/MHA, BSN, RN, serves as patient care executive for Adventist Health White Memorial. She has had 32 years of progressive leadership experience and has been instrumental in implementing strategies to achieve quality clinical outcomes since joining Adventist Health in 2014. Her passion has always been to continually provide the quality care that patients rightfully deserve. She believes that there is nothing more satisfying than to hear, “Thank you for taking care of me,” from a patient.

Before becoming patient care executive, she served as a director of nursing operations where she accomplished collaboration with the finance department to ensure unit managers participated in discussing productivity, variances and stardards. She also led in the continual improvement of clinical outcomes and established the Nursing Operations Council, which connected nursing managers and directors as one harmonious unit. Patricia earned her bachelor's in nursing and holds a master’s degree in both nursing and health administration. She’s an active member of the Association of California Nurse Leaders and a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipient.
