Adventist Health offers employment to nearly 1,600 Cerner Associates

Adventist Health is transferring the management of revenue cycle from Cerner to Huron and is offering employment to all Cerner employees who have been working on behalf of Adventist Health. Nearly 1,600 employees serving in areas including Hospital Admitting, Health Information Management, Patient Financial Services and Coding will be employed in their existing roles and current locations. They will experience a seamless employment transition into Adventist Health. Meanwhile, approximately 100 Cerner managers and directors who have been working on behalf of the health system are being offered roles at Huron. The management change is designed to improve responsiveness for patients and communities.

Adventist Health will continue a relationship with Cerner for the electronic medical record and integrated revenue cycle solutions and Cerner will continue to support our care transformation functions.
