Adventist Health Medical Office – Tulare welcomes Araselia “Sally” Gonzalez, FNP-C

Adventist Health is pleased to welcome Araselia “Sally” Gonzalez, FNP-C, to the medical staff at Adventist Health Medical Office – Tulare. With more than 45 years of experience, she provides a full range of family medicine services to patients at every stage of life. Her areas of care include school and work physicals, well-woman exams plus acute and chronic conditions, including hypertension and depression. Additionally, she performs in-office wound care and cryotherapy for simple lesions.

Gonzalez first experienced nursing as an aide during a high school class and continues to be inspired by her career to this day.

“I love my job,” she said. “Particularly the opportunity to reverse chronic conditions as much as possible and also educate patients about how to improve their health through positive lifestyle changes.”

She earned her master’s degree in nursing at the University of California, Fresno and has been certified as an advanced practice registered nurse for 24 years.

Longevity extends to other areas of her life. Gonzalez and her husband have been married for more than 45 years and have two adult children and three grandsons. She is a person of great faith and enjoys reading the Bible. Other interests include her dogs, hiking and documentaries about the world’s heroes.
