Adventist Health Medical Office – Sanger welcomes physician assistant

SANGER – Adventist Health Medical Office – Sanger is pleased to welcome board-certified physician assistant Kristen Lehr, PA-C, to its family medicine staff. Lehr approaches family medicine as an opportunity to help patients achieve their highest possible level of health through the benefit of preventative care, wellness checks and health education regarding positive lifestyle changes and choices.

For those with chronic or acute conditions such as obesity, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and diabetes, she helps them monitor their condition and access the most advanced treatments and therapies to improve or maintain health.

“I value seeing people feel better, to see them return to doing things they love to do, and to have a better understanding of how they can stay healthy,” she said.

After receiving her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, Lehr attended Barry University in St. Croix and Miami, Florida where she earned a master’s degree in clinical medical science and her physician assistant certificate.
