Prior to joining Adventist Health, Leighton was the Chief Operating Officer for Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Richmond, CA. In that role, he was responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the hospital and its associated clinics. Leighton had previously spent more than 20 years in durable goods manufacturing, building and distributing agricultural and heavy industrial machinery.
