First Lifetime Legacy Award
Sam and Grace Carvajal are recipients of Adventist Health Glendale’s first Lifetime Legacy Award for extraordinary philanthropic leadership. Their long-standing love for Adventist Health Glendale and their charitable support of the hospital’s Foundation are sources of great satisfaction for this devoted couple.
After 42 years of service, Sam Carvajal retired in 2003 as director of medical technology at Adventist Health Glendale. He was appointed to the Foundation’s Board of Directors in 2006 and has contributed his time and extensive knowledge of the hospital as part of the board’s functions. Gracie Carvajal volunteered for Adventist Health Glendale for nearly 30 years and currently continues to support many Foundation events in addition to her position on the Guild Board.
The Carvajals will receive the Lifetime Legacy Award at the Foundation’s Annual Gala in April 2018.
